Please join us for an informative seminar about the legal issues surrounding polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as “forever chemicals”. Presenter David Steinberger, Senior Assistant City Attorney with the Denver City Attorney’s Office, will provide an overview of the complex health and environmental litigation focused on companies who used these toxic chemicals in many consumer products, including firefighting foams.
A brief overview of the diverse practice areas and meaningful work performed at the Denver City Attorney’s Office (CAO) will also be presented. The CAO serves as the legal adviser to the Mayor, City Council, City Auditor, City Clerk and Recorder, and all City departments and agencies; represents and defends the City in legal matters; handles all suits initiated on behalf of the City and County of Denver; prosecutes violations of city ordinances; and provides counsel to elected officials and client agencies. At the CAO, our attorneys have the opportunity to make a difference, build, and improve Denver's communities.
Register using the QR code on the flyer or the registration link at the bottom of this email.
Webinar information and materials will be sent by email to all registrants prior to the seminar.
