APABA Foundation
The Colorado Asian Pacific American Bar Foundation ("APABA Foundation") is organized to receive and administer funds for educational and charitable purposes including but not limited to the fostering of educational opportunities for the advancement and welfare of the Asian Pacific American communities in Colorado.
The APABA Foundation donates thousands of dollars every year to worthy community projects. Grantees include the Asian Pacific Development Center ("APDC"), which promotes the well-being and health of the Asian Pacific American ("APA") community of Colorado by bridging generations, cultures, and languages through culturally appropriate programs and services. The APABA Foundation is proud to support the APDC Youth Strengthening Youth and Holiday Food Basket programs.
Every year, the Foundation provides grants and scholarships to members of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Associations of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and the University of Colorado School of Law. The APABA Foundation also has supported projects concerning diversity in the legal profession, and the introduction of diverse high school students to local colleges. Since the Foundation's inception, the APABA Foundation has donated over $440,000 to these and many other community organizations and projects.
